Programm
Discover the different techniques to progress in off-piste skiing, and to feel comfortable in this fabulous place, far away from the ski lifts!

Day 1:
Group and technical level evaluation on some off-piste downhills, in the domain of the Brevent and La Flégère. Explanation of the security equipment and its use.

Day 2:
Famous off-piste downhills in La Clusaz: Ballachat, Tardevant, Fernui…
Learning of ground-anticipation techniques, nice off-piste downhills
Personal technical correction for everyone thanks to a digital camcorder

Day 3:
Small walk to join the virgin snow
on the top of that: a beautiful and long off-piste downhill in the middle of the mountain landscape
Group Debriefing + personal feedback

Day 4:
Warm-up on pistes.
30 minutes-walk to join the off-piste place of the Aravis Mountains with a incredible view on the Mont-Blanc
a shuttle will take us back to the La Clusaz station.

Day 5:
For this last day, i propose you a cross-country skiing
Or if you still want to taste virgin snow, we can continue off-piste skiing

La Clusaz is a French ski resort in the Alps near the Swiss border. The commune of La Clusaz is part of the Haute-Savoie département. An old village, La Clusaz has been hosting winter sports since 1907. It is the birthplace of famous French skier Vincent Vittoz and sailor Philippe Monnet. Based in the Aravis mountain range La Clusaz (originally from the word cluse - meaning a narrow path between two mountains) was once called Clusa Locus Dei meaning God's narrow place.

In 1902, the opening of the road connecting Annecy and the valley of Thônes with the Aravis Valley which allowed La Clusaz to become a tourist center for summer and winter sports.

In 1956 the first cable car was introduced. The commune of La Clusaz is classified winter sports resort and of alpinism per decree of June 18 1969. The first luge was added in 1985. The first snow cannon added in 1994
