Course

Mont Blanc Massif:

two day ski touring in Aiguille d’Argentière

DAY 1:

Leave Argentière by the Grands Montes cable car.
Panoramic descent to Argentière hut then meal and overnight stop with stunning views of the grandes faces nord of the Courtes – Droites range.


DAY 2:

Leave on skis at dawn from the hut for the Glacier du Mileu, continue to the bottom of the summit slope, and then arrive at the summit itself at 3900 m!
Descent back to the glacier then return to the hut to arrive on the left side of the glacier and finally Argentière.




Ski touring over three mountain passes

Col du Tour Noir, Fenêtre de Saleina, Col du Midi

DAY 1:

Start at Grands Montets with a superb descent to the middle of the Argentière glacier, meal and night in the mountain hut.


DAY 2:

Start out for the Col du Tour Noir with stunning views all the way of the faces nord of the Courtes – Droites range.
Change direction towards Switzerland to arrive at the Fenêtre de Saleina, inspiring scenery!
Arrive at the Triant hut in the afternoon.


DAY 3:

Return from Triant hut to the French side by either the Col du Midi or Génépi…
Wonderful descent on skis to the village of Tour.

Dômes de Miages

DAY 1:
Ascent on skis to Conscrits hut from the village of Cugnon near Contamines Montjoie.


DAY 2:

Ascent to the pass on skis with a unique view of Mont Blanc.
From the pass arrive at Dômes summit.


Choice of two options:

     1) Return by the same route for skiers of a reasonable level.
     2) Summit then traverse of the Dômes to change course for Armencette glacier.

Excellent descent on skis (2000 m vertical drop) in the powder!!!
